🛠 Project Overview
This project involved the large-scale modification, dismantling, and relocation of an extensive pedestrian walkway system with a total length exceeding 3,000 meters and a width of 5 meters. The scope required detailed engineering planning, safe execution, and coordinated heavy lifting operations using cranes, supported by a professional erection team to ensure structural integrity, safety, and accurate reinstallation.
The project was successfully finalized through the completion of architectural, structural, and MEP works to deliver a fully functional and safe pedestrian walkway.
📐 Scope of Work
Engineering assessment and relocation methodology development
Dismantling of existing fabricated walkway structures
Heavy lifting and controlled handling using mobile cranes
Relocation and reinstallation of the walkway along the new alignment
Installation of infill elements between walkway sections
Installation of handrails along the full length of the walkway
GRP finishing works
Installation of MEP shelves on both sides of the walkway
Installation of cable trays above the walkway
Final alignment, inspection, testing, and safety verification
